Marc Jacobs brought the New York Fashion Week a gorgeous show as he always did. It seemed that he became a magic color player that night. And his show amazed everyone with various bold colors including dynamic oranges, bright reds, cotton candy pinks, rich purples and an array of neutrals. All these exceptional colors are subtly embodied into imaginative patterns that are full of 1970s feel.
Of course, the show would not be perfect if there were no some attractive arm candies. Their unconventional tones were tamed by their relatively modest sizes. For this show, Marc Jacobs prepared more small-sized purses and clutches than shoulder bags. To the unexpected ensemble, the clutch in soft red suede and leather was a nice compliment. It came to present a flair and sharp contrast and did not take anything from the slouchy dress with low slung belt.
And Marc Jacobs smartly saved the show
from being over flashy by adding some accessories with understated elegance. The chic tan leather clutch is a fine example of the current colorblock trend with a fuchsia tab done in eye-catching green.
And a huge tribute to the 1970s would not be completed if lack of a dash of unapologetic gold which always wandered in mind of women. The radiant quilted purse is a perfect finishing touch to the model¡¯s gold lam¨¦ top and those snazzy little hot pants.
In general, Marc Jacobs presented a fantastic material feast for fashion world. This collection will surely attract Marc Jacobs fans and those who love the style of MJ.
