Did you ever think about your customers think about your staff? Are your staff is impressed or horrified? Or are they comfortable in engaging your customers or do they avoid them? Are they dressed professionally and are they identified as your employees? Many big stores are aware of the presentation of their staff in front of their customers and so they make them dress in uniforms, so that they are easy to spot anywhere in the store. This is for their part, but do their customers are able to identify them or do they look like another customer?

How Your Staff Works And What Do Your Customers Think About Your Staff?
Did you ever think about your customers think about your staff? Are your staff is impressed or horrified? Or are they comfortable in engaging your customers or do they avoid them? Are they dressed professionally and are they identified as your employees? Many big stores are aware of the presentation of their staff in front of their customers and so they make them dress in uniforms, so that they are easy to spot anywhere in the store. This is for their part, but do their customers are able to identify them or do they look like another custome? r

Another aspect you need to consider is that is your staff friendly and accommodating? Do they greet your customers properly in a nice way or do they just ignore them until they leave? Your staff should be very polite and friendly enough to your customers as well as they do have great product knowledge of what they are selling. This is not enough! Take into consideration some special situations, like how would your staff handle a power outage in your store? Would they just stand around looking at each other or would do they know what the correct procedure to handle customers in such a situation! And what about a fire alarm?

Noe come to the point of sale? Do your staff know how to operate the POS system properly and efficiently so that the payment process is quick and painless for the customer? Here are a few tips for you to make your staff presentable:

1.Make them wear new shirts or uniforms with your store name on them and also make them similar in style and the same color.
2.Make sure they keep their clothes cleaned.
3.Make sure your staff are accessible and have a lot of product knowledge.
4.Make sure everyone who uses the cash register (or POS System) is properly trained.
5.Make them learn the credit card transaction process properly.
6.Make sure everyone knows how to deal with customer complaints and give them the authority to provide solutions.
