Are you planning to buy a printer for your computer but has no idea about install them? Don't worry just go through this article and you'll have a basic idea about it. Here are basic instruction for installing a computer's printer.
- Install a driver for printer for easy detection printer by your computer.
- Connect the printer to the computer through a cable that is plugged into the USB port.
- Insert the installation CD that can along with your printer and follow the installation prompts.
- Try to plug the printer's USB cable to your computer's USB port (if there's no CD). Just follow the Add New Hardware Wizard's instruction.
- Computer will search for drivers in computer for compatible printer. It will also search on the internet if it is unable to detect any compatible driver in the computer.
If you're still unable to find a compatible printer then, contact the manufacturer of the printer and ask for downloadable driver for the model of printer that you have. To check whether you have properly installed the printer see the icon name of your printer in the dialog box that comes up if you go to Start>Printers and Faxes.
