Search engine optimization, which is better known as SEO is considered as a form of art, that most people think that it is worth wielding this occasional hammer! According some people, manipulating a website in order to get high rankings on search engines is an art form. And some other consider that this is all about conquering the algorithms used by engines. There are also certain people who think that it is a way to find the loophole. Apart from these views, there are a number of issues that each of these category of people would agree upon.

The pace of link building is one of these issues. There are some SEO experts who consider slow and steady tends of link building, because of the fact that many search engines tend to asses the value of links to a site by determining if they are “natural”. However, nobody actually knows what natural linking is. But, it should be kept in mind that one should only build links to a site that mirror that your site would get links naturally, even if no SEO effort was given.

However, this theory is also out-dated for certain reasons. First, a majority of sites would not get any links if an SEO campaign wasn't undertaken. Thus, what we call natural linking is not really natural at all. It is just a philosophy that linking should be instant, but it should be done gradually.
