America has in stored some interesting career surprises on its list of top growing careers. For instance, a 32% and increase of college professors and 32% more preschool teachers is expected to occur within the next ten years. This is just one of the baby boomer generation repercussion, however. The children of the baby boomers are beginning to produce offsprings of their own and requiring preschool services. Some children of baby boomers are rapidly reaching the college age as well.
A matter of surprise, however, is that doctors and nurses aren’t featured in these fastest growing careers. The medical industry is witnessing a rapid transformation and its hiring practices are now more inclined towards lower-wage, lower-skilled employees, like, medical assistants, dental assistants and physical therapist aides. All this is taking place down in order to minimize the ever increasing health care costs in America.
